Dr. D. Jagadeswaran is one of the Senior Healthcare Professionals with entire qualification (Under-graduation, Post-graduation and Doctorate) from the field of Allied Health Sciences. He is an expert Member to Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Government of India in framing National Curriculum, Career pathway and job profile for Dialysis therapy technology programme. He has eleven Publications in National and International Journals and is the first dialysis professional from India, to publish in an International journal with an Impact Factor of 6.4 (Scopus and Web of Sciences indexed).
He has eight Awards for Best Paper, Poster, research publication and dedicated service etc., to his credit. He has done twenty-Six paper presentations and attended over 60 national, international conferences and workshop.
His expertise lies in Allied Health Sciences, Renal Sciences and Dialysis Technology curriculum, education, training and Research.
Dr. D. Jagadeswaran is a member of the National Interim Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. He is also currently serving as the National Vice President of the Joint Forum of Medical Technologists of India.

He has over 38 years of experience working for the Government in various capacities and has been instrumental in the successful implementation of many government schemes such as ‘Amma Master Health Check Up Scheme’, User Friendly Radiological Services Statewide, Portable X-Ray units, etc. He was appointed as "Technical Expert" by the State Government in the Purchase Committee for procuring Mammogram Equipment under WHO Scheme. Also, served Expert Person and single point of contact to meet the end to end needs of TNHSP Bio Medical Engineers Team. He has to his credit, over 25 years of academic experience.
